About The Position
HipBurger is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading the team and running daily restaurant operations. The role involves coaching crew members and shift leads, contributing to a positive team environment, and helping ensure guests receive fast, high-quality service. The Assistant Manager also supports hiring, training, scheduling, performance feedback, inventory, ordering, and team development while working across restaurant stations as needed. The position offers leadership development and career growth potential, with no late-night closes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in food service or hospitality.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Enthusiasm for working with people.
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations.
- Lead and coach crew members and shift leads.
- Work on the floor across grill, register, drive-thru, and expo as needed.
- Deliver excellent guest experiences and service.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
- Keep the restaurant clean, safe, organized, and aligned with HipBurger standards.
- Support the General Manager with inventory, ordering, and team development.
- Solve problems during busy periods and help maintain a positive team environment.
