About The Position

As a Counter Sales Associate, you will support store operations by providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with paint and material selections. You may also make deliveries as needed to meet customer requirements. The role involves helping customers in person and by phone, preparing paint orders, processing transactions, supporting inventory activities, and maintaining the store.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Punctual and dependable.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Team player.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds of paint and paint products.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED).

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service; experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and advise customers on product selection and uses.
Assist customers in person and over the phone with questions and orders for architectural, commercial, and industrial paint products and coating materials.
Prepare orders by mixing and tinting paint to customer specifications.
Identify and match paint colors accurately.
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a cash drawer.
Assist with inventory and processing incoming stock.
Load and unload materials for customers and delivery vehicles as needed.
Occasionally deliver products safely and efficiently using a company vehicle.
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure customers are satisfied with products and services.
Collaborate with coworkers and management to maintain a smooth workflow.
Perform miscellaneous store tasks, including stocking and cleaning.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
