About The Position

The Assistant Manager assists with all store operations during their shift, including cost, inventory, and cash controls and customer relations. The role sets an example for the crew by following store policies and procedures and expecting the same of team members. The Assistant Manager also assists the General Manager with staffing and scheduling, administrative duties, maintenance scheduling and reporting, and other tasks needed for successful daily store operations. The role may include making deliveries or assisting on the makeline as needed. The position is with a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee, which is solely responsible for employment decisions, compensation, benefits, staffing, scheduling, and supervision.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, to make deliveries when necessary.
• Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, and meet strict quality-control standards.
• Must provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
• Must have excellent communication skills, including understanding and giving written instructions, communicating with customers by phone and in person to process orders, and communicating professionally and respectfully with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations during shifts, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Follow all policies and procedures and set an example for the crew.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing, scheduling, administrative duties, maintenance scheduling and reporting, and other operational tasks.
• Safely operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products to Domino’s standards.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Assist with all aspects of store operations, including making deliveries or working on the makeline when necessary.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed to support smooth store operations.
