About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for everything that happens during their shift, including cost, inventory, and cash controls and customer relations. The role sets an example for the crew by following all policies and procedures and expecting the same standards from others. Responsibilities also include staffing, paperwork, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining store standards and cleanliness, marketing, and supporting profitability. The manager helps lead a shift team of 3 to 25 people and promotes a positive workplace and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team; the role manages a shift staff of 3 to 25 people.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years old.
• Strong judgment, math, multitasking, attitude, and motivational skills.
• Serve as a role model with high standards for punctuality, attitude, and appearance.
• Willingness to work when the team needs coverage; the schedule is described as flexible.
• Ability to perform the listed physical tasks and work under stress while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations and team members.
• Oversee cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and food management.
