Rainstorm Car Wash Assistant Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Manager functions as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. This role is responsible for ordering and stocking vending supplies, providing training to new hires on opening/closing checklists, proper loading techniques, and Fast Pass sales techniques. The Assistant Manager also professionally responds to voicemails and emails, creates effective schedules, and has complete knowledge of the Car Wash vacuum system operation, including cleaning it via pressure washing. They support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings, assist with on-site Supervisor Courses, and supervise teammates completing PM tasks, assessing if further training is needed. The role also involves completing the GSR Daily Breakdown.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
- Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
- Experience with team building.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
- Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
- Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.
