About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for the site’s facility and operations. This role leads by example on the front line, helps achieve established volume, revenue, and profitability goals, and supports a team of 10–15 employees in a fast-paced, structured environment. The position combines administrative work with hands-on operational duties and offers professional development and advancement opportunities at Tidal Wave Auto Spa.

The Assistant Manager helps deliver quality, friendly service and an exceptional guest experience; trains and develops employees; performs limited administrative tasks and quick equipment checks; and maintains the facility, landscaping, equipment rooms, and overall organization. Work takes place outdoors in varying weather conditions and may involve evenings and weekends based on company needs. Occasional driving for company business may be required, using a company, rental, or personal vehicle.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, climb, and crouch frequently.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Comfort working around water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on company needs.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards if driving for company business is required.
• Must complete a drug screen and background check per state guidelines.

• Restaurant management experience is ideal; related skill sets are transferable.
