About The Position

The Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) reports to the Restaurant General Manager. The role directs shift leaders, trainers, and team members to improve systems and support smooth restaurant operations. It also develops coaching skills to help drive the restaurant’s culture and daily operations. The ARGM assists the RGM with staffing, training, inventory, forecasting, scheduling, career development, performance management, and execution of company initiatives. The position supports customer service, food and driver safety, brand standards, regulatory compliance, and a clean, safe, organized restaurant. The ARGM is expected to represent Tasty Hut, LLC and the Pizza Hut brand professionally and ethically, follow company policies, and exhibit the company’s core values.

Requirements

ServSafe certification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Training listed as “Lead On! Shift Leader” and “Lead On! Restaurant General Manager and Computer basics.”
Reliable transportation.
Ability to communicate and give feedback in a positive manner.
National Sex Offender Registry check.
Motor Vehicle Record.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver’s license preferred.
MSM Courses 7–9.

Responsibilities

Assist the RGM with hiring and training, and build a bench of key-holding managers and team members.
Promote a positive restaurant culture and employee experience.
Maintain excellent customer service standards and follow Pizza Hut service principles.
Assist with oversight and execution of store inventory, forecasting, and scheduling processes.
Ensure team members have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
Develop a store team that achieves high customer satisfaction results.
Ensure shifts meet or exceed Tasty Hut, LLC and Pizza Hut standards and processes, including food, restaurant, and driver safety; CHAMPS; brand standards; FSSC; and CORE.
Assist the RGM with career development and the restaurant team performance management process (MSM).
Use Pizza Hut-provided tools, including Hutlink, Learning Zone, and Pizzapedia.
Deliver Pizza Hut-provided training materials and courses, and follow up with team members on execution.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide a safe work environment and maintain a clean, organized restaurant that meets health and safety regulations.
Serve as a steward of the Pizza Hut brand.
Assist the RGM with the restaurant calendar.
Communicate and execute company initiatives by managing restaurant team performance.
Manage and adhere to the employee handbook and company policies.
Maintain a professional image and ethical conduct as a representative of Tasty Hut, LLC.
Exhibit Tasty Hut, LLC core values and work to fulfill its mission and vision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
