Store Assistant Manager
About The Position
Circle K is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee Stationstore operations in a fast-paced environment and develop a career in management. The Assistant Manager works with the Store Manager on hiring, supervising and supporting staff, completing daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising. The role helps maintain store standards, provide fast and friendly customer service, and execute the food program. The Assistant Manager sets an example for the team through urgency, patience and leadership, and is expected to maintain regular, predictable onsite attendance. The position requires the ability to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours, lift or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift, and occasionally lift or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level. Other physical activities include pushing or pulling with the arms up to 20 pounds, bending at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift, and grasping, reaching and manipulating objects. Handwork requires eye-hand coordination and may involve climbing a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place and remove signs.
