About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you are part of the leadership team and help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance, and collaborate with the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and provide operational support as needed.

You support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in achieving business results, own an assigned division of responsibility, and help ensure store operations run smoothly. You also contribute to recruiting, training, team development, customer service, product knowledge, and community events. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift and move at least 40 pounds.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Passion for the brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay current with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for product, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in impacting business results and maximizing profitability.
• Own a designated division of responsibility, such as Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, or Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and development efforts as needed.
• Help create a collaborative working environment for associates.
• Keep the team on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to improve associates’ product knowledge and customer connections.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into a variety of roles on the sales floor as needed.
