About The Position
The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager with all aspects of store operations, providing leadership to optimize sales results. The role promotes a positive customer shopping experience and leads and inspires a high-performing team to improve operational efficiency and drive traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. The Assistant Manager contributes to daily store operations, inventory management, sales growth, and customer satisfaction while maintaining brand and visual merchandising standards. Responsibilities also include processing shipments, replenishing the sales floor, and fulfilling e-commerce orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or a related discipline is an asset.
- Two years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
- Passion for fashion, an outgoing personality, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in identifying and responding to changes in the business environment, with the ability to contribute impactful ideas and solutions.
- Ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and building on others’ ideas.
- Ability to build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
- Social media skills, mobile device skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to business needs.
