About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for everything that happens during their shift, including staffing, paperwork, cost and cash controls, inventory, food management, customer relations, scheduling, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. The manager must set a positive example, follow all policies and procedures, and expect the same from the crew. The role also includes the general duties of store team members and may include duties covered in the Driver and Customer Service Representative descriptions. Training and orientation are provided on the job.

Requirements

• Domino's management experience is preferred; the posting states “Domino's management experience plus.”
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• For delivery duties: valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards; access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery; and navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses.
• Ability to navigate delivery terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations and oversee staffing, paperwork, cost controls, inventory, cash control, food management, and customer relations.
• Work to a schedule and uphold store image, standards, cleanliness, attendance, and punctuality.
• Provide great customer service and contribute to marketing and store profitability.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and set an example for crew members.
• When assigned delivery duties, deliver products by car to customers, deliver flyers and door hangers, and navigate to delivery locations.
