About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring an Assistant Manager to help run store operations and lead team members during a shift. The role is responsible for everything that happens during the shift, including cost, inventory, and cash controls and customer relations. The Assistant Manager sets an example for the crew by following company policies and procedures and expecting the same from team members. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers opportunities for advancement within Domino’s, including paths from store roles to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have some shift-running experience.
Be ready to work a flexible schedule.
Use judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Have transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

Oversee all activities and operations during the assigned shift.
Manage cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set an example for the crew and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
Handle staffing and paperwork.
Manage food and work to a schedule.
Maintain store image, standards, cleanliness, and customer service.
Support attendance and punctuality, marketing, and store profitability.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; and receive and process telephone orders as needed.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
