About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Manager to join the team at the Salem location. The Assistant Manager supports the store manager with daily operations and team leadership while helping ensure exceptional customer service. The role also involves maintaining store standards, supporting sales goals, and stepping in for the store manager when needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail or the service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences.
Proficiency in cash handling, financial management, and inventory control.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of retail operations, customer service best practices, and sales techniques.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards.

Handle cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accurately.
Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular counts.
Resolve customer complaints and address concerns promptly and professionally.
Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Assist in meeting sales goals and implementing promotional activities.
Step in for the store manager in their absence and make key decisions as needed.
