About The Position

We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to assist our General Manager with day-to-day operations. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and hardworking individual who wishes to grow with our company and have fun while doing it. We are a local franchise that employs 350+ people so team building skills are a must for this position.

Requirements

  • Reliable Transportation
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work 30-50 hours per week

  • Basic Math and Book Keeping skills
  • A minimum age of 18 years
  • Maximum of 3 traffic violations in 3 years or 2 in 2 years
  • Vehicle must comply with all Store and Corporate Safety Standards
  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience required
  • Must have approved Vehicle Insurance that covers Delivery Drivers
  • Must be able to provide MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) from DMV
  • Car must have a positive image
  • Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handlers Licenses preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in food industry preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of management skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist General Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Deliver and create outstanding product.
  • Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
  • Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
  • Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.
  • Carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties.
  • Navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
  • Stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
  • Scoop cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or wash dishes.
  • Obtain topping ingredients, clean work surfaces, or answer phones.
  • Shape pizza dough.
  • Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
  • Pinch cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
  • Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
