About The Position

The Assistant Manager Food Warehouse is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods and related supplies used by designated departments. The role oversees warehouse operations when the Warehouse Manager is absent and supports inventory control, vehicle maintenance, employee training and development, staffing, purchasing, and budget monitoring. This position is required to be performed full-time at an NBCUniversal-designated worksite and may require work on weekends, holidays, and nights.

Requirements

3–5 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience, with 3–5 years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk or travel to multiple venues throughout the day.
Must submit an attestation disclosing COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submit vaccination records no later than seven days after commencing employment.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated.
Must adhere to company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

Receive all food and beverage deliveries to the warehouse.
Ship, stock, and rotate food products for venues.
Maintain the facility in a clean and organized condition and store products according to established standards.
Assist with control of warehouse inventories.
Maintain vehicles in working order.
Participate in developing employee training programs and monitor training results.
Support team cohesion and demonstrate organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring, and coaching skills.
Assist with performance development, including administering discipline, resolving employee relations issues, and conducting individual and team meetings.
Provide input on policies and procedures to support efficient operation of designated areas.
Manage employee schedules, payroll, and counseling.
Assist with purchasing required supplies and equipment within the approved budget.
Participate in developing operating budgets and monitor adherence.
Operate the warehouse in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
