About The Position

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a loving and attentive Assistant Infant Teacher to help provide a safe, nurturing environment where infants can explore, grow, and reach developmental milestones while feeling secure and supported. The role involves creating a responsive, engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs and provides opportunities for curiosity, confidence, and early learning.

The Assistant Infant Teacher builds trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates, and collaborates with the teaching team to maintain consistent routines, meet licensing standards, and uphold the school’s commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• High school diploma or GED must be completed.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
