About The Position

The Assistant in Training (AIT) supports the Store Manager and Leadership Team in fulfilling Buckle’s mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for Guests. The role combines sales, guest service, merchandising, recruiting, teammate training, and store operations. The AIT helps develop sales, recruit Teammates, and train and motivate the team, and acts as Store Manager in the manager’s absence. The position requires regular standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, climbing or balancing and jumping, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing; sitting is occasional.
