About The Position
The Assistant House Leader is a blended role where the primary responsibility is to enhance the resident’s quality of life. The neighborhood model aims to create a home-like feel for residents emphasizing social interaction, resident autonomy, and personalized care. The Assistant Neighborhood Leader will help support in all 3 neighborhoods at Fairway View and work closely with the current Neighborhood Leaders to effectively lead the neighborhoods.
Requirements
- Regular part time (60 hours per pay period)
- Supporting the Neighborhood in both a Lead and CNA capacity
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership within the neighborhood
- Support and assist with staffing and building the team
- Oversee and ensure quality and safety for both staff and residents
- Evaluate and address the successes and needs of the household
- Assure that resident rights and responsibilities are honored and met
- Promote the residents’ well-being and satisfaction by supporting resident centered care
- Keep the overall function of the household running smoothly
- Practice highly sensitive interpersonal and communication skills with staff, other departments, residents and families
