About The Position

The Assistant Hourly Trainer Opr supports the Harvest production line by training and assisting team members with proper knife-steeling techniques and job techniques. The role helps team members accomplish production-line goals, maintains standards set by upper management, and audits and tracks training progress. Team members report to the Training Manager/Supervisor. Hours vary. All team members are responsible for safety, including personal and food safety.

This position is intended only for team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members interested in transferring from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the job’s physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Must desire to make others successful and be a positive motivator.
• Must exhibit good attendance, work performance, people skills, and safety practices.
• Candidates with four or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered.
• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures.
