About The Position

The Assistant Head Utility Steward helps maintain clean kitchen and dining areas at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort while supporting memorable guest experiences. The role cleans and prepares serviceware, monitors supplies, completes kitchen cleaning tasks, supports banquet and event setup, trains new stewards, and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Perform kitchen cleaning tasks, including mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
