This position is responsible for driving and developing the business plan for their area of responsibility to achieve facility goals in production, quality, safety, and operational improvements. The role involves forecasting and managing staffing, workload, and performance to meet business demands. It also includes managing financial aspects, monitoring expenses against budget, asset utilization, and analyzing business reports. The Assistant General Manager ensures compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, investigates and resolves associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and serves as a community liaison. A key part of the role is supervising and managing associates and leaders, providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities, and upholding company policies and procedures.
