About The Position

Broadway Cannabis Market is a recreational and medicinal cannabis dispensary serving Portland and surrounding areas. The Assistant General Manager works alongside the General Manager at the Capitol store, overseeing daily operations, supporting the store team, and coordinating closely with the Inventory Manager to help maintain the store as a leading cannabis destination.

Requirements

• Valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Expert understanding of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
• Strong technology literacy.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, professional appearance, and excellent hygiene.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice.
• Ability to understand and comply with safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Dutchie POS and METRC.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily floor operations, supervise staff, and run full store operations when the General Manager is off-site.
• Provide staff with operational tools, guidance, and active support on the sales floor.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication between front-of-house, back-of-house, and inventory management.
• Address and resolve customer issues efficiently to maintain a high standard of service.
• Ensure the dispensary adheres to state cannabis laws and OLCC regulations.
