About The Position

PILF Restaurant Group is seeking a confident, people-first Assistant General Manager to help lead restaurant teams in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The role partners with the General Manager to run successful shifts, maintain high standards, and create welcoming guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment. The Assistant General Manager leads front-of-house operations, develops team members, works closely with back-of-house leadership, and supports administrative and operational tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience; full-service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with a team-first mindset.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and act quickly when needed.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Aloha or NCR, OpenTable Guest Center, R365, Avero, or Pulse.
• Full-service restaurant management or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to run smooth, successful shifts.
• Manage the front-of-house experience, including hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching.
• Lead front-of-house shifts, including scheduling, cash handling, and opening and closing duties.
• Communicate clearly during service, solve problems, and maintain positive energy on the floor.
• Create strong guest experiences by visiting tables, resolving issues, and building relationships with guests.
• Work with back-of-house leadership to maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Handle administrative tasks such as labor tracking, ordering, deposits, inventory, and tip-outs.
• Recognize team achievements, provide honest feedback, and support team development.
