About The Position

The Assistant Salon Director helps keep the salon running smoothly by coaching the team, supporting sales goals, and maintaining strong client service and operational standards. Working alongside the Salon Director, this role oversees salon operations such as scheduling, inventory, cleanliness, and client experience, and assists with promotions and using sales metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. The position offers up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation is required. Compensation is $16.00 per hour. The role involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and light cleaning duties.

Requirements

Proven sales experience.
Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Energetic and personable, with the ability to foster a positive, harmonious team environment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform light cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

Motivate and coach team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.

Educate clients about tanning and wellness options.
