This position is responsible for communicating with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing, driving and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety), and implementing operational improvements. The role involves forecasting and following up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. It also includes managing assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports. The position ensures facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives. It involves investigating and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and serving as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities, championing company-sponsored programs and events. The role includes supervising and managing associates and leaders in the area of responsibility by giving direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, and providing opportunities for learning and growth, teaching and supporting Logistics and company policies and procedures, and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates facility-wide.
