About The Position

Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring an Assistant General Manager of Dining Services to lead a talented team, oversee dining room and café operations, and support all aspects of mealtime service. The role is responsible for the overall efficiency of the kitchen, café, dining rooms, and catering areas. Fox Run is a 108-acre continuing care retirement community in Novi, Michigan, managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care. Compensation starts at $53,800.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in dining room management, service, and sanitation; up to 1 year of dietetics experience may be substituted.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Proven ability to supervise multiple venues and manage large teams.
Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Oversee scheduling, training, hiring, coaching, and development of employees in the restaurant, café, and supervisory positions.
Ensure food is properly portioned, plates are attractively presented, and service meets established standards.
Supervise cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock.
Ensure dining staff comply with safety regulations and follow company policies and procedures.
Participate in programs and activities designed to enhance employee and resident satisfaction.
