About The Position

The Assistant General Manager & Head Coach leads class quality and supports day-to-day operations at StrongerLife Plano. The role partners with the General Manager to run the center and takes the lead when the General Manager is away. Its responsibilities are evenly weighted across center operations, accurate member records, guiding prospects through tours and membership conversations, and leading group classes for adults 55+ while developing the coaching team. The position combines hands-on coaching with operational and membership responsibilities. The coach leads 50-minute group classes built around strength, balance, endurance, bone density, cognitive health and mobility; helps ensure classes are safe and appropriately tailored; and maintains strong relationships with members. The role also sets coaching standards, provides feedback and training, manages schedules and center routines, tracks KPIs with the General Manager, follows up with prospects, and supports new members through their first weeks. StrongerLife Plano is a new center with a small founding team and support from the company’s Frisco headquarters. The role offers the opportunity to help shape classes, member experience and center culture, with a stated growth path from Assistant General Manager & Head Coach to General Manager and potentially multi-unit leadership. The job posting describes paid training, coaching and leadership development. Compensation is listed as $60,000–$75,000 per year; a performance bonus is mentioned, though its details are marked TBD.
