About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Assists the Grocery Manager with operation of the frozen food section, including financial aspects, merchandising, rotation, and inventory. Oversees clerks in the frozen food area and helps promote sales opportunities while maintaining a high level of customer service and courtesy. The role may also provide front-end services as business needs require.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Assist the Grocery Manager with day-to-day frozen food operations, including merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, product rotation, and inventory levels.
Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies for the frozen foods area and meet transmission times.
Store excess product in the freezer.
Maintain customer courtesy and service throughout the store; provide front-end services when business needs require.
Ensure company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations are followed in grocery operations.
Unload frozen food merchandise from trucks.
Maintain damage and reclaims according to company guidelines.
Assist with training and development of new associates in the frozen food area.
Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
Perform other duties assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
