The Assistant Front Office Manager will assist guests during and throughout their stay, ensuring all guest concerns are handled in a caring and professional manner with proper corrective actions and follow-up. This role is responsible for ensuring high levels of performance and motivating all Front Office team members. The Assistant Front Office Manager will act as an ambassador, serving as a key contact for VIPs and group guests. Maintaining open lines of communication with all hotel departments is crucial, as is maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order in work areas and public spaces. This position will collaborate closely with Housekeeping on guestroom control and distribution, and with Reservations to manage room availability, increase revenue, and ensure correct billing/rebating procedures and upselling. The Assistant Front Office Manager will also assist the Director, Front Office in various projects and lead the Front Office Team, including Royal Service, Front Desk, Bellman, Valets, Greeters, Lobby Greeters, Concierge, and Business Center. Daily checking of group bills for accuracy is also required, along with other assigned duties.
