About The Position

Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to help make a difference in the communities it serves. The role is responsible for the food program and includes preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example of excellent customer service, helping the team achieve daily goals, and assisting with merchandising. The Assistant Food Manager helps ensure the highest quality of customer service every day.

The position is based at Kwik Star 934. The posted full pay range is $17.00 to $23.79; actual pay depends on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency, and internal equity. Kwik Trip shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers, with bonuses ranging from 8–12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.

Requirements

• Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift.
• Great people skills.
• Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to problem-solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
• Desire to help others.
• At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
• Ability to motivate others to complete tasks and meet goals.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for up to 8–10 hours per day.
