Assistant Food Service Manager
About The Position
Kwik Trip’s Assistant Food Managers are responsible for the store’s food program. They prepare foods, delegate tasks, train coworkers, resolve customer complaints, model excellent customer service, help the team achieve daily goals, assist with merchandising, and ensure high-quality customer service every day. The role is suited to energetic, outgoing, positive people who enjoy a fast-paced environment and want to make a difference in their communities. Kwik Trip describes itself as a family-owned Midwest company operating since 1965. It shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers through bonuses that may range from 8–12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage, depending on company profitability. Requirements
- Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift.
- Strong people skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to solve problems and shift priorities quickly.
- Desire to help others.
- At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Ability to motivate others to complete tasks and meet goals.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for up to 8–10 hours per day.
