About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Assists with training, scheduling, and inventory control in the food court to support sales. Oversees staff and ensures compliance with corporate and state sanitation regulations. May assist with cooking large quantities of food supplied to finishing cooks throughout the food court. Requires formal knowledge of recipes and cooking styles.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
Satisfactory performance reviews.
Strong communication skills.
Basic literacy.
Basic computer skills.
High school degree or equivalent.
6–12 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests; end each transaction with a thank-you.
Sample products and use suggestive selling.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Assist with day-to-day food court operations, including training, scheduling, and inventory control.
Assist with preparing and cooking large quantities of food for finishing cooks according to required quantities.
Apply thorough knowledge of recipes and ingredient formulas used in food court areas.
Ensure associates follow company and state sanitation policies and procedures.
Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
Maintain cold case, hot food, and cooling logs in accordance with store policy.
Perform other related duties assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
