Assistant Food Service Manager
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to help run its food program and make a difference in the communities it serves. The role includes preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example of excellent customer service, helping the team achieve daily goals, and assisting with merchandising. The Assistant Food Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service every day. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and primarily on second shift, with variable shifts indicated. The role is based at Kwik Trip 424. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $22.26; actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency, and internal equity. Kwik Trip shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers through bonuses that range from 8% to 12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage, depending on company profitability. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift.

- Ability to problem-solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
- Desire to help others.
- At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for 8–10 hours per day.
