About The Position
The Assistant Food & Beverage Outlet Manager at The BLVD in Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, a Four Seasons Hotel, assists the Restaurant Manager with planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the hotel’s all-day or fine-dining restaurant. The role supports outlet operations and guest satisfaction, providing knowledgeable, attentive service in an environment dedicated to distinctive dining experiences for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The position reports to The BLVD General Manager. Work authorization for the location is required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous experience.
- Computer knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- High analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to speak, write, and read English.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work different shifts and weekends.
- Work authorization for the job location.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with the direction of all aspects of Food & Beverage division planning, organization, control, and employee work.
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline restaurant employees to ensure cultural and core standards are met.
- Plan and oversee daily outlet activities and operations.
- Remain visible in the operation, recognize employees, promote good public relations, and handle guest, client, and group-contact complaints, concerns, and special requests.
- Describe and ensure the quality of food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits.
- Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control.
- Attend regular operational meetings to coordinate and cooperate effectively between departments.
- Observe the physical condition of outlet facilities and equipment and recommend corrections and improvements.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
