About The Position

Carmel Country Club is looking for an experienced and professional Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. This role is responsible for assisting management in creating a memorable experience for our Members and their Guests by achieving the highest level of satisfaction with a focus on exceptional service and dining.

Requirements

Minimum of Three years working in a Food & Beverage Environment with a strong track record of progression
Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Preferred
Entry level wine knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with the Director of F&B Operations to ensure a coordinated effort at providing a quality experience for all members and guests
Ensure compliance with prescribed standards in the areas of guest satisfaction, food & beverage cost, labor cost, safety, sanitation and product preparation
Actively monitor member services to ensure standards of operation constantly meet or exceed the presently established guidelines
Consistently demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, neatness and dependability to produce results in a timely and cost-effective manner
Enforce all the club rules and regulations governing the use of the facilities
Operate and maintain dining areas staffed with knowledgeable and competent personnel
Maintain high visibility in dining rooms to welcome members and their guests and to ensure prompt, efficient and knowledgeable service
Test team members with service exams on a regular basis as part of ongoing training
Help develop/implement Food & Beverage standard of service and training program for all new employees
Assist with performance reviews of team members
Assist with recruiting and interviewing of prospective team members
Attend all relevant operational meetings
Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required
Assist with scheduling and payroll duties
