About The Position

Taher, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Driver to support its food service operations. The role receives and stocks incoming materials, transports food and supplies into appropriate storage and warming areas, loads outgoing deliveries, and delivers products in a cargo truck. It also includes serving lunch in a school cafeteria and returning serving supplies and paperwork to the central location. Additional duties may be assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Successfully pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock materials from incoming deliveries.
• Transport food into coolers, freezers, and warming boxes, and stock it on shelves.
• Load outgoing materials for deliveries.
• Transport items in a cargo truck to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Serve lunch in a school cafeteria setting.
• Return serving supplies and paperwork to the central location.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
