About The Position

The Assistant Director helps ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards. The role supports an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents, encourages children’s imagination and self-esteem, promotes the company’s image, recruits and retains quality staff, and contributes to the company’s profitability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
• Spark children’s imagination, build their self-esteem, and help them discover new things.
• Promote the positive image of the company and help make it a provider of choice in the communities it serves.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
