About The Position

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the school in partnership with the School Director, helping achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The role also supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Assistant Director helps ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards; fosters an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents; supports children’s imagination, self-esteem, and discovery; promotes the company’s positive image in the community; recruits, selects, and retains quality staff; and helps achieve company profitability.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Previous leadership experience.
At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must meet state education requirements and center/school requirements.
