Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, residents, visitors and employees.

Requirements

  • BS Degree preferred, Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 5-8 years previous management experience in large-scale/ high-volume food service operation required
  • Serv-Safe Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and maintains trayline and retail operations
  • Enforces quality control standards for patient food items including temperature, food handling, quality, taste and presentation
  • Develops schedules and assignments
  • Supports operation of the nutrition services software system that manages retail and patient operations
  • Monitors employee performance
  • Responsible for staff training
  • Responsible for supervising human resource, finance and administrative positions
  • Responsible for regulatory adherence
  • Drives and Improves customer satisfaction
  • Conducts quality assurance monitoring
  • Responsible for adhering to sanitation requirements
  • Develops policies and procedures related to all meal services and finances
  • Develop and manage clinical performance improvement plans and activities
