Assistant Director, Football Operations
About The Position
Responsible for assisting with football support operations including day-to-day operation of the program, travel, and programmatic structure (liaison to dining/nutrition, equipment, compliance, etc.). Works directly with compliance office to ensure the football program adheres to NCAA regulations in its operation. Assists with planning and directing all aspects of team travel itineraries for away games. Plans and executes all logistics of pre-season training camp. Oversees and directs all special events as assigned. Coordinate all aspects of football youth summer camps. Assist with all program recruiting needs as requested, including official and unofficial visits. Represent the football program and Vanderbilt Athletic Department in a professional manner. Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Chief of Staff, and/or Head Coach.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
- Prior experience with football operations at the college and/or professional level is necessary.
- Organized, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is necessary.
