The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Student Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is seeking an Assistant Director of Outreach Services/Licensed Psychologist. CAPS is an IACS-Accredited center within the Student Wellness unit, which includes various departments focused on student well-being. This full-time, 12-month position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic, integrated service model serving a diverse student population. The Assistant Director of Outreach Services (ADOS) will oversee CAPS Outreach, Social Media & Technology, and Wellness Promotion, ensuring adherence to professional standards, laws, and university mandates. This role involves integrating outreach and prevention programming into counseling center activities, developing and executing outreach policies, and providing clinical services such as individual, couples, and group counseling, intake evaluations, crisis assessment and intervention, and outreach consultation. The ADOS will also provide clinical supervision and training to trainees and/or psychological assistants, and contribute to departmental strategic planning and leadership as part of the CAPS leadership team, including administrative supervision of Wellness Promotion staff and student workers.
