Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
About The Position
Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in our skilled nursing neighborhood. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating new hire orientation programs, educational in-service/clinical programs, and training for all nursing personnel. Oversees the infection control program as a designated infection preventionist to comply with Federal and State regulations, and to provide training to nursing staff. Assists the Director of Nursing (DON) with management and administrative functions.
Requirements
- Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of five years’ clinical experience
- Experience with in-service education
- Knowledge of principles of nursing care
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities
Nice To Haves
- Preferably in a long-term care setting
- Clinical supervisory experience is preferred
