About The Position

This position is accountable for clinical management functions and employee performance evaluations to assure delivery of quality health care and services consistent with regulatory compliance and facility policies, procedures, standards and financial objectives. The Assistant Director of Nursing supervises all nursing personnel on the assigned unit/shift and performs administrative tasks on the assigned unit/shift and serves as a back-up for the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of three (3) years Registered Nurse experience in a skilled nursing facility
• One (1) year of satisfactory experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Supervisor, or Charge Nurse, preferably in long term care
• Current Registered Nurse License
• CPR certification
• Strong communication, leadership skills and interpersonal relationship skills

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
