About The Position
A respected healthcare organization in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced nursing professional to step into an Assistant Director of Nursing role. This position plays a key part in supporting clinical operations, strengthening staff performance, and maintaining high standards of patient care within a dynamic care setting.
Requirements
- Possession of an active New York State RN license
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively guide and support a diverse clinical team
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes
- Participate in staff evaluations, coaching, and professional development efforts
- Support initiatives focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
