About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) | RN to support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents. This role involves ensuring care is provided in accordance with physician orders and the total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON is responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN assumes responsibility for clinical operations.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
Responsibilities

- Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
- Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
