About The Position
The Village at Mission Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) | RN. This role supports and carries out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON is responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
Responsibilities

- Assuming responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
