About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) supports nursing operations in an assisted living and senior living setting. The role calls for knowledge of assisted living regulations and nursing practices, along with leadership, team-building, communication, and organizational abilities. The position may involve participating in an on-call rotation and working varying shifts occasionally as needed.

Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of assisted living regulations and nursing practices.
• Strong leadership, team-building, conflict-resolution, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work occasional varying shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and memory support services.
