About The Position

NHC HealthCare Moulton is hiring a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Moulton, Alabama. The ADON supports nursing leadership, clinical operations, partner development, and high-quality patient and resident care. Working closely with the Director of Nursing and the interdisciplinary team, the ADON helps manage daily nursing operations and regulatory compliance. The schedule is negotiable, pay depends on experience, and the position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Alabama.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous nursing leadership, long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of nursing services and daily clinical operations.
Support nursing staff supervision, coaching, education, competencies, and performance.
Help monitor staffing, scheduling, documentation, care planning, and clinical practices.
Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, survey readiness, and infection-prevention activities.
Assist with reviewing changes in patient and resident condition and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, interdisciplinary team members, patients, residents, and families.
Support compliance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and NHC policies.
Serve as a nursing leadership resource and assist with coverage or on-call responsibilities as assigned.
