Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required
Proven experience in a leadership role such as Assistant Director of Nursing or similar
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and patient care practices
Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stress management abilities
CPR certification required
Degree in Nursing (Associate’s or higher) required

Responsibilities

Assist in directing, overseeing, and evaluating all nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc.)
Support staffing procedures and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage
Help set departmental goals and support long-term planning for nursing services
Assist with organizing and coordinating admissions, nursing care, and patient care procedures
Support the development and enforcement of policies to ensure compliance and high-quality care standards
Monitor budgets and assist with managing departmental expenditures
Identify and help resolve issues or deficiencies in operations and patient care
Maintain and oversee accurate record-keeping procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Report to upper management and support leadership initiatives
