About The Position
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is a Registered Nurse who partners closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, nursing services, and regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing community. The role combines nursing leadership with active involvement in resident care and team development. The position is with Quaker Hill Community in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and is a full-time day-shift role. The posting lists starting pay at $30 per hour and also specifies competitive pay at $33 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in leading, supervising, and developing nursing staff.
- Ensure quality resident care, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Support clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations and nursing services.
